Self Tanners...let me start here!

One item I use on a daily basis is a self tanner. I love to "look" like I have a tan year round, without going into the sun or suntan bed in the cold months. Self tanners are a dream come true for me, especially being a "lady of the 80's! I used to tan in the tanning bed at least twice a day some days..I just wanted the "look".
So, a few years ago I decided to try self tanners. I have tried over 25 different kinds. A few I have returned to the store, a few I have used and never replaced, and yet a few others I have become addicted too, like a sweet piece of chocolate.
I recently tried one over the fall months, I loved the color, the scent, and the texture. I am having trouble finding it in the stores this winter, so last night I bought a new one, and like all the others, I rushed home, ran upstairs and disrobed. I them smothered myself in the new creamy tan I was about to "try out". At first I was thrilled to see that their were little sparklies in the product, almost like a "big girl dusting of fairy dust". I shimmered from head to toe in a very lightly scented "tan in a can". I did not wash my hands immediately, as instructed, as I felt I had a few minutes to dress and brush my hair...Wrong!
This morning I woke up to a new found tan...on my palms and between my fingers! After I accepted the fault on my own part, I quickly ran to the mirror to see that I had found a new friend, a new tan, and new product to carry me through the winter months.
